Regarding the global initiative "Plastic-Free July", Pula Herculanea and the Green Istria Association are once again organizing the Reuse Festival, scheduled for July 19th and 20th at Art Park in Rojca.
During the two-day festival, a series of free workshops will be held for all interested citizens, aimed at raising awareness about the importance of reusing various items and waste to contribute to environmental protection. Festival activities include opportunities for visitors to repair bicycles, participate in workshops on making natural cosmetics, create books from old textiles, exchange or repair their devices, and find great clothing items in the Give Box (take it or leave it), among other activities. The entire event will be accompanied by good music and socializing in the beautiful environment of Art Park in Rojca.
In addition to interactive workshops, on Saturday, July 20th, visitors will have the opportunity to see examples of reuse best practices at the Reuse Fair, which will feature a large number of local exhibitors.
By bringing together different exhibitors, workshops, and activities, the festival inspires people to take action and move towards a more sustainable future. All of this will be creatively documented by photographer Nika Paus.
