At the end of last year, as part of the Erasmus+ project Eco-Engage, we spent a week in Andalusia exchanging experiences and examples of good practice in the field of environmental education. A seminar dedicated to good practices was held from 24 to 30 November in Puerto Real, at the University of Cádiz.
Throughout the week, we learned from one another through a series of educational activities that connect nature, science, and innovative learning methods. Each organization had its own “spotlight” — a two-hour slot to present its programmes, activities, research, and approaches to environmental education. Read more here.
The following organizations took part in the seminar:
- Natura Sin Basura (Spain)
- Notre Grand Bleu (Tunisia)
- Kratten (Tunisia)
In cooperation with partners from Spain and Tunisia, we developed the Eco-Engage Handbook – Tools for Environmental Education, which brings together the knowledge, experience, and inspiration gained during this exchange.
