The Green Istria Association, in partnership with Pula Herculanea d.o.o. and the Rojc Alliance, is launching the project “Radiona Re-Geppetto – Repair, Don’t Throw Away!”. The project aims to foster a culture of repairing and reusing items in order to reduce waste and encourage a more sustainable use of resources.

Project activities include creative reuse workshops, a lecture on the harmful effects of plastic and the principles of the “zero waste” lifestyle, as well as public events such as the Reuse Festival, Repair Day, and the TiDam-TiDaš Swap Event. Citizens will be given the opportunity to acquire new skills, extend the lifespan of their items, exchange what they no longer need for something useful, and in this way actively contribute to waste reduction.

A special value of the project lies in Radiona Re-Geppetto, which throughout the year will serve as a place where citizens, with the help of skilled mentors, can repair their items and learn sustainable practices. In this way, the project builds a community that nurtures solidarity, cooperation, and environmental responsibility.
